I wanted to encourage everyone to make their character a surcoat, a patch, a belt flap, or something on your garb that identifies what province your character is from. The easiest thing is to use the Province symbol. If your character is of "mixed" heritage or your lineage is not easily identifiable, then no symbol is required.
For organizations that are obvious or require identification (such as the Banner Knights), the org's symbol should also be displayed by your character.
The symbols should be large enough to see (3" diameter or so particularly for surcoats or belt emblems).
