Fellow folk of skill, I call onto ye.
As with our greater prevailing performance and the rather ineffective accuracy of catapaults and various traps in our journey to the sea, it would seem that some of the dead lingered to tell their comrades, and thus according to their cowardly ways, have altered the nature of their plans: they have better traps.
Be aware we may encounter vile toxins, gases, explosives and magic, lurking blades and falling rock, and perhaps even the perilous pit or so.
Everyone should be aware of what is needed in a trap disarming kit:
Sharp eyes
Steady hands
A small, good sharp pair of scissors
A ruler or other flat, long object
ingenuity
Quick and easy use sticky tape (electrical or sports is pretty good)
Really good reflexes.
And an understanding of wires, springs, knots and strings is a good idea too, as well as a poking stick (Just be careful of what you poke!!!).
And always remember that they tend to like coating their mechanisms in poison, so gloves may be a good idea.
Ah, the perilous joys of our trade.
To Adventure and the Spoils!
